THE VITRUVIAN SQUARE: A HANDBOOK OF DIVINATION DISCOVERIES

Since mankind’s earliest days, we have sought to know the thoughts of another.

From the sheer need for safety and survival, we have tried to predict what tomorrow will bring.

The challenge, of course, has been how unique we all are and the different ways each of us has tried to know and understand ourselves and what waits for us up ahead. No one has ever dreamed it would be possible to bring all the varied divination methods together into one workable system.

Until now . . .

Some Reviews

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in all my years of doing this work, I owe the most self-growth to and personal success in the realm of private readings and public question answering, it is without a doubt Scott Grossberg’s “Vitruvian Square.” . . . Scott’s approach is an even blend and perfect balance between logic and intuition. Once you’ve learned and integrated “The Vitruvian Square” system, you’ll be able to look at a person, place or thing, question, problem or circumstance, and through interacting with the square, be able to know and understand it on a deeper and more profound level than ever before. - Jerome Finley

With "The Vitruvian Square," Scott Grossberg has achieved the Holy Grail of psychic readings. He has created a composite talisman that unifies esoteric systems and oracular thinking from the Ancient Mysteries through the scholar magicians and beyond. Others have tried and failed, but with "The Vitruvian Square," you will be amazed how with on figure you have multiple layers of meaning that draw on the symbolic, deep, and enduring powers of Tarot, numerology, spiritual alchemy, Kabbala, sigils, and so much more. This is the Emerald Tablet for the modern age and will yield solid results for anyone engaged in doing readings for real. - Dr. Todd Landman

This is one of those rare, wonderful books that every time you read it, you get something more from it. This goes light years beyond the Lo Shu Square. Learning The Vitruvian  Square has forever altered, for the better, the way I do readings. It has increased the depth in which I ‘see’ my clients. - TC Tahoe

A Note from Scott

This is leading edge, powerful stuff (in my opinion). I’ve got to tell you that I am thrilled with this project because I created The Vitruvian Square for me. And I have tested and use each and every technique contained in the book. For live shows. For radio appearances. For private readings. And even for personal change work.

The Vitruvian Square is - first and foremost - a reliable, consistent, and solid reading system. If you give readings, there are tools contained within these pages that will bring your craft to the next level.

I just know that you are someone who will read the book and find it to essentially be what you might think of as a personal “Unified Theory of Divination.” If you are, by now, serious about fortune telling, divining, and providing predictions (as I am), this book contains some penetrating and imaginative approaches to using and combining my Deck of Shadows, numerology, Tarot, the Platonic Solids, palmistry, astrology, colors, Alchemy, and on and on. This marriage of various divination traditions is what has easily led others to start personally using the systems in the book. And, I can tell you, in demonstrating some of the techniques during my live appearances, the responses have been tremendous to, among other things, the use of The Vitruvian Square with the Platonic Solids (in plain English – RPG or role-playing dice) and other oracles.

The Vitruvian Square has some of its origins in both the original and Western versions of The Lo Shu Square. But, this is not something that is simply derivative of prior works. Rather, the orientation of the Western design has been shifted from what most people have seen, and I don’t know of the prior use of my configuration and correspondences for the purposes set out in the book. These distinct modifications, by the way, are what opened my eyes to the grand discovery of the Unified Theory; the combining of fundamental divination principles with easy-to-use and regular visual patterning.

For those of you who want a little more detail before you decide to buy and to excite you further, here is a portion of what you will discover in the book:

1. The Basic Vitruvian Square

2. The Alphabet

3. Tarot – The Major Arcana

4. The Planes (The Planes of Thought, Passion, Action, Outcomes, Values, and Duty)

5. The Axes (The Axes of Protection and Power)

6. Other Connections (The Diamond of Harmony, The Square of Chaos, The Triangle of Reflection, The Triangle of Results, The Cross of Desire, and The Cross of Binding)

7. Choosing the Squares to Use – The Basics

8. Choosing the Squares to Use – The Threefold Number Method

9. Choosing the Squares to Use – Further Adventures (including uses for The Platonic Solids and Sacred Geometry)

10. Mythic Readings and The Vitruvian Square (The Hero’s Journey)

11. Medicine Wheels, The Minor Arcana, and Structures of Self

12. Alchemy and The Vessels of the Soul

13. Miscellaneous Odds and Ends (The use of pendulums, success and failure readings, colors, astrological signs, how to read a person’s subconscious thoughts, and finding lost items)

14. Palmistry

15. Additional Tools (sigils, incantations and affirmations)

16. The Vitruvian Palace – An Inner Journey

So, you can see, this book is crammed full of concepts and techniques and ideas that, I don’t believe, have appeared together before. Most importantly, I know that each and every one of the items contained in The Vitruvian Square work!

THE MASKS OF TAROT

Some Reviews

"It's a wonderful feeling to start reading a book on a favorite subject and immediately know you're going to learn valuable information. I have no idea how many books on the Tarot I've read over the years, but none have captured my imagination as quickly as this one." - Richard Webster

"I recently read a brief but profound statement that resonated with me. It went something like this . . . 'I am not so much interested in where Tarot has been, but where it is going in the future.' Scott Grossberg's book 'The Masks of Tarot' is part of that future. Mr. Grossberg has developed a method wherein a complete novice can quickly utilize the Tarot to uncover what 'makes them tick and what they tick to and why.' If you are tired of reading just another book on card meanings and spreads, this is the book that will challenge you to step into the fresh and innovative future of Tarot." - *Garnet

"After I started reading this, I quickly noticed how different, clear and direct the author is developing meaning for reading Tarot. It reminded me of how Bruce Lee pushed the Martial Arts forward by promoting the same things using a variety of disciplines. This book does the same by bringing in sophisticated knowledge of human behavior in an accessible way. I agree with others, this is no trite book on the Tarot, this is the real deal for people who are serious about learning. You will discover a way to deliver a fascinating, meaningful reading in a powerful way. Enjoy!" - C. Ball

"I was blown away by the depth of knowledge and its application detailed in this book. Maslow, Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, these are the names that popped in my head when I first started reading. Scott Grossberg has taken what these great minds wrote of and distilled the essence and brought it all together in an enlightening and practical way. This is the most amazing book I've ever read, and I say this without any reservation. Let me make something very clear: This book is not a survey book, written at a fifth grade reading level; this is a true textbook. It is a serious work and is written in an appropriate manner. That being said, I could not put the book down once I started reading it. Scott is an amazing writer. As I said before, this is the most amazing book I've ever read, and Scott Grossberg has to be one of the most brilliant and talented people I've ever come across. I truly believe this will be the most sought after book ever released on the tarot and on readings." - Tony Iacoviello

"This is a must read for those interested in practical techniques for using Tarot cards." - Jeff Krivis

"The techniques offered in 'The Masks of Tarot' are derived from classification models developed by 20th century psychologists and behaviorists. Grossberg remolds these into methods for using the tarot as personality analysis tools . . . it was fascinating to see them systematically applied as methods for tarot reading. . . . This will appeal to those readers who enjoy helping clients explore personal development and inner understanding. 'The Masks of Tarot' is recommended for tarotists who want an overview of a psychology-driven reading style, to those who wish to add this style to their repertoire, and to those who want to develop more precise methods for delving into aspects of personality. It is also a book that would be of service to licensed psychologists and counselors who utilize therapeutic tarot in their practices." - Elizabeth Hazel, The American Tarot Association Quarterly Journal
