About the Book
Is the Book Magic or Myth?
Step into a realm where the mystical and the profound intertwine with The Celebrant’s Companion: A Time Traveler’s Collection of Esoteric Rites and Mystical Ceremonies. In this captivating tome, I invite you on an extraordinary journey, revealing the ancient wisdom assembled by someone I discovered was called "The Scribe"—an enigmatic figure who apparently learned to traverse time and space in order to gather sacred rites from different cultures.
This book is not a traditional narrative. As you turn the pages of this nearly 400-page adventure, you'll find a meticulously curated collection of 42 transformative ceremonies all translated from The Scribe's use of fragmented Latin, archaic French, biblical Hebrew, and, of course, English. I even found some of The Scribe's pages contained strange glyphs that required the help of experts to interpret for me. I think you'll find that each rite beckons you to immerse yourself in a world where the ethereal and the corporeal entwine. There's no doubt that The Scribe designed each ceremony to illuminate your path, foster personal growth, and deepen one's connection to the Sacred. The Scribe’s original leather-bound 1892 manuscript (rediscovered by me in 2017 in a quaint bookshop outside Old Spitalfields Market in London) breathes life into these timeless rituals, offering insights that are sure to resonate with the deepest chords of your soul.
The Celebrant’s Companion is more than a mere collection. For me it's been a portal to realms unseen and experiences unimagined. I trust it will be the same for you. In fact, as you delve into the numerous rituals that The Scribe disclosed, you'll no doubt uncover the hidden secrets that he, too, found waiting within. Perhaps one or more of the rites will ignite a spark of magic in your own everyday existence and deepen your bond with the Universe.

A Peek Inside the Life of The Scribe
Step into the shadowy corridors of time and meet The Scribe, the enigmatic figure whose journey transcends the boundaries of the known world. Eldric Cowan, a name whispered among esoteric scholars, was not merely a man but a time-weaver (something he called "manipulating the temporal realms"), traversing realms both visible and hidden, gathering the sacred rites that would form the heart of
The Celebrant’s Companion.
Imagine a young Eldric wandering the ivy-clad halls of Cowan Gables, his family estate, a sanctuary filled with ancient tomes and arcane symbols. Under the guidance of illustrious tutors—alchemists, mystics, and seers—he absorbed the wisdom of the ages, his imagination ignited by the stories held within the dusty pages. Each night, Eldric would lose himself in those books, dreaming of quests that uncovered the secrets of the invisible worlds.
While Eldric's home laid the groundwork for who he would become, it was in 1861, beneath the Basilica of the Oracle des Bois in Paris, that everything changed. During one of the fabled Bone Ceremonies, Eldric’s understanding of time and reality would take a transformative turn. As candlelight flickered against the stone walls, he participated in an extraordinary ritual that eventually led to him to discover a special relic. This relic revealed the mysteries of time slips, moments where the past and future intertwine.
Eldric's subsequent journeys across time were marked by adventure and revelation. From clandestine gatherings in the depths of catacombs to encounters with secret societies, he immersed himself in the sacred and the mystical. Each experience became a thread in the intricate tapestry of his life, weaving together the essence of what would eventually become what you will read—The Celebrant’s Companion.
This book is not just a collection of rituals; it's a portal to the extraordinary life of The Scribe—a chance to walk alongside him as he unveils the very ceremonies and rites that held the magic of the Universe for him across time and cultures. I invite you to discover the transformative power of The Scribe's work. Join him and me on this mystical journey and uncover the secrets that await.

The Journey Continues . . . a Lost Manuscript Resurfaces . . .
and Its Influence Runs Deeper Than I Knew
When I first uncovered The Celebrant’s Companion, I believed it to be the culmination of my research—a rare and remarkable glimpse into the esoteric teachings of The Scribe. But as I pieced together its origins, I began to stumble upon something even more elusive.
Scattered throughout the annotations, whispered in footnotes and cryptic references, was mention of another work—one that was said to contain teachings not of ritual alone, but of the very nature of light, consciousness, and transformation itself. Scholars spoke of it as Cowan MS 11, but its true title had been obscured, its pages lost to time. Some believed it had never existed at all, that it was merely a footnote in the grand mythology of The Scribe.
And then, a single page surfaced.
The fragment was sent to me in secret, bearing the unmistakable script of Eldric Cowan. The words inscribed at its base—Aurora Insurgens ("The Light is Rising")—were the same I had found buried in The Celebrant’s Companion. But this was different. This was not a book of outward ritual; it was something far more personal. A guide. A map. A treatise on illumination.
Through relentless searching, I traced its path, and what I found changed everything. The Splendour of the Light—long thought lost—was not merely a manuscript of esoteric philosophy. It was, in truth, another of The Scribe’s translations, an even older and more revered text, carefully preserved and passed through the hands of those who understood its significance.
And it had left its mark on some of history’s most brilliant minds.
Likewise, W.B. Yeats—poet, playwright, and student of the esoteric—spoke of a manuscript of awakening that had altered his perception of the spiritual world. He never named it outright, yet those familiar with his correspondences have long speculated that it was Cowan MS 11 he referred to. If true, then the very rhythms of his poetry, his dreamlike visions, and his connection to the mystical currents of the universe may have been shaped by this long-lost work.
Among Nikola Tesla’s private journals lies a reference to a "book of light" that shaped his understanding of energy, a cryptic text he believed revealed the nature of limitless power. Scholars have debated its meaning, but what if Tesla had access to Cowan MS 11? What if his pursuit of wireless energy and free power was not merely scientific, but deeply mystical?
Now, for the first time, I am making this text available to those who have already stepped onto the path.
If The Celebrant’s Companion opened the door to the rituals and ceremonies of the mystics, The Splendour of the Light leads inward—to the hidden wisdom that lies beyond ritual, beyond time, beyond the seen and unseen.
I offer it now to you, a fellow seeker, as a continuation of the journey you have already begun.
The light is rising. Will you follow it?
